Default Team 260 9sec LS-ipie

LS-ipie: pronounced (El-es-ippy) - A simple yet very affective recipe put together and proven by some of the baddest small tire street cars in the midwest. This recipe will guarantee you a 9 second elapsed time in the 1/4 mile.

Chassis under 4,000 lbs (f bodys, g bodys, a bodys, fox bodys, any body)
Engine
- Gen III or IV (Gen IV is preffered) Sbe 5.3 or 6.0 everything stock except the following ( a little tougher with a 4.8 but weve seen it done.)
- Any cam with matching springs/pushrods (stock has been used successfully in some applications)
- LS9 Head Gaskets
- Arp Head Studs
- Any intake or throttle body (stock is fine for both)

Electronics
- Holley EFI

Fuel
- E85
- 80 lbs or larger injectors
- Any fuel system that can supply the needed flow.
- We typically use Holley Twin billet pump, regulator, filters

Turbo/Exhaust
- Borg Warner S475 or up ( T4 or T6)
- Stock Truck manifolds flipped forward with v-bands
- 2 Stainless and or mild steel hotside (2 1/4 max)
- Tial Wastegates (you can use chinagates but control issues may result)

Intercooler
- Not needed

Charge piping
- 3 or larger tubing
- Tial blowoff valve (can use Chinese but control issues may result)

Transmisson
- TH400
- Alto red clutches/bands
- 34 element sprag
- Stock vb (modified for manual operation)
- Good torque converter 3800-4000 stall
We use Precision Industries a lot

Rear End (10 bolt, 12 bolt, 9 inch, 8.8)
- Need good axles and spool
- 3.08 3.42 gear (factory stock gm gears work great)

Boost
- All of it
